TIMOTHY J. HEITMANN
OWNER AND PRINCIPAL
A native of Kansas City, MO, Mr. Heitmann received his bachelor's degree and later a master's degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He went on to do Ph.D. work at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., continuing that work at LaSalle University in New Orleans, LA, earning his doctorate from the latter in 1993.
From 1982 to 1992 he worked as chief economist at Wealth Management and Associates in McLean, VA, with parallel stints as Regional Marketing Director, Cole Haan Footwear (Yarmouth, ME) and President of Alexander Julian Footwear (New York City, NY). From 1992 to 2005 he worked as a money manager in the investment banking division of Raymond James and Associates, in St. Petersburg, FL, then held a similar position at Legg Mason in Baltimore, MD, through the end of the decade. From 1999 to 2005 Mr. Heitmann did money management and investment banking for First Union Securities in Richmond, VA.
During these years he also worked as a financial and political commentator for Radio America and Black Crow Radio Network in Washington, D.C. In 2009 he became a Managing Partner at Wimsey Capital Management; he also served as an outside director for London, UK-based RJH Public Relations and for Horn and Associates Recovery Audit Firm in Salt Lake City, Utah. He launched Recovery Audit Specialists in Washington, D.C. and served as its first Chairman.
In 2019 Mr. Heitmann founded his own investment and consulting company, Padget & Company. In 2022, Padget led a group of investors to acquire Union, NJ based Manhattan Group Inc., and founded their internationally oriented sister company, The Manhattan Group Global Inc. Mr. Heitmann resides in West Palm Beach, FL.
DAVID MORO
MANAGING DIRECTOR
A native of New York City, David Moro spent 17 years living abroad, in Western Europe (France, Italy and Belgium), South America (Brazil), Asia (Japan and the Philippines) and Russia – first while growing up, as a youth, and later while in college and in the military. He learned French, Italian, Portuguese and Russian along the way.
He graduated cum laude from Trinity School in Manhattan in 1977; was Phi Beta Kappa at Williams College, with a double major in Economics and Russian Studies; and took a year off to study as an exchange student at Leningrad State University in 1979-1980.
Mr Moro began his career at Morgan Stanley, then worked briefly as a Soviet expert for the Strategic Concepts Development Center, a Defense Department interdisciplinary think tank housed at National Defense University in Washington. He then served a tour of duty as an infantry officer in the Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in December, 1987 with the rank of 1st Lieutenant, then remained in the reserves until 1992.
Following his active duty military service, Mr. Moro went to work for Philadelphia-based RAF industries, a building products LBO firm, as Director of Acquisitions. He left in 1990 to join his father and brother in forming Power Capital, an investment firm dedicated to starting up and investing in promising U.S. companies with backing from a group of European investors. From 1991 to 1999 he served as CEO of Ethnic-American Broadcasting Company, which became Power Capital's largest portfolio company. He built it from a single-channel Russian Radio company valued at $1.5 million, when it was acquired, into the nation's largest non-Hispanic ethnic broadcaster in 1998, when it was valued at $150 million in a major investment by Bell Canada.
In 2000 Mr. Moro funded and oversaw the development of the Power Capital Trading System (PCTS), a "black box" software platform for trading equities based on proprietary algorithms. In 2009 he founded Manhattan Group LLC, a boutique advisory firm that raises capital for small to medium-sized middle market companies. That company was recently reorganized as Manhattan Group Inc., with offices in Union, NJ.
Mr. Moro currently works as Managing Director of Manhattan Group Inc. Other positions held concurrently for client companies include Director of Finance for Fixtech Industries, Ltd., a supply chain management company based in Hong Kong; Director of Business Development for NeuroDive, Inc., a neurotechnology company based in Rostov, Russia; and Director of Business Development for Ira Heller Law LLC, in Union NJ.
Mr. Moro has written extensively on foreign affairs, and his articles have appeared in Policy Review, Continent Magazine and the NY Tribune, among other publications. In 1990 he founded the Residents' Committee to Protect the Adirondacks (RCPA), a grass-roots organization dedicated to preserving the Adirondack Park's open spaces.

Ron Tiesler is a cross-functioning leader who is driven by a relentless commitment to providing corporations, both big and small, with a common-sense approach to processes and procedures which result in a more streamlined and seamless customer experience.
For more than 20 years Ron has distinguished himself as someone who is able to quickly and efficiently identify and effectively implement tailored solutions to a wide variety of corporate challenges. He has achieved this by leveraging his keen understanding of people, processes, business economics and technologies.
Ron earned his Bachelor's degree in "Organizational Innovation" and a Master's degree in "Business Leadership". Ron began his career at American Express, moving to AOL / Time Warner and then on to a position with a Venture-Capital backed SaaS company where his focus was driving customer growth and service.
Ron's consistent core focus within all of these organizations has been the delivery of global services, marketing, channel management, sales and operations.
